Dr. Sree Gogineni’s journey into medicine was fueled by a passion for improving patient health and quality of life. As a board-certified physician in both Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every patient interaction. Over the years, she has helped countless individuals manage chronic health conditions, overcome weight challenges, and lead healthier lives.

Her dual board certification sets her apart by enabling her to look at weight management not just from a metabolic and nutritional standpoint but also with an eye on overall internal health. Dr. Gogineni believes in creating personalized treatment plans that go beyond the scale—her goal is to help patients feel better, reduce health risks, and achieve long-term success.

Dr. Sree L. Gogineni, MD, DABOM

Dr. Sree L. Gogineni, MD, DABOM, is a distinguished physician dual board-certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the renowned Guntur Medical College in India and completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.

With a comprehensive, patient-centered approach, Dr. Gogineni integrates modern medical technology with traditional practices to provide holistic care. She is dedicated to empowering patients by educating them about their health conditions and guiding them toward effective self-management strategies.

Dr. Gogineni's expertise in Obesity Medicine enables her to offer specialized weight management services. She provides evidence-based strategies tailored to individual lifestyles and health goals, including personalized nutritional guidance and long-term weight management planning.

  • Fluent in English, Hindi, and Telugu, Dr. Gogineni is committed to delivering culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population. She is affiliated with Inova Fair Oaks Hospital and Inova Fairfax Hospital in Northern Virginia, where she is recognized for her excellence and compassionate care.
    Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Gogineni enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, and keeping abreast of the latest advancements in weight management.

Deborah Allis, PA-C, MBA

Deborah Allis, PA-C, MBA, is an experienced Obesity Medicine and Bariatric Physician Assistant, practicing in Northern Virginia after many years in the NY metropolitan area. Deb is a graduate of the Yale University Physician Assistant Program. She has been in the field of Obesity care for more than 15 years, and is very passionate about empathetic care, patient education, and ending the stigma of the disease of obesity.

During her tenure in NY, she was involved in Bariatric Surgery research and named on multiple peer reviewed articles in the medical literature. During her tenure in CT and after earning her MBA, she served as Director of Operations in Bariatric Surgery, overseeing hospital programs and surgeon practices.

Deb is involved at the national level, having served as the co-chair of the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Committee of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). She has been a course director, speaker, moderator, and panelist at ASMBS meetings. Deb was awarded the 2024 ASMBS Distinguished APP of the Year and has co-directed the course development of the ASMBS APP Assessment Based Certificate (ABC) courses in the Fundamentals of Bariatric Surgery and in Obesity Medicine Pharmacology.
